Wheatland Ag, Inc. has a complete hardware
system to operate curtains conventionally by rolling up
or by letting down to open. We use a pipe driven system
instead of cables and pulleys, which we feel gives a more
trouble free operation. Lift ropes are used every six feet
with one handed adjustment. Seat belt webbing or galvanized
tubing is used as wind restraints.
Manual operators come
in either 8:1 or 14:1 gear ratios and can easily roll
up 175’ and 225’ curtains,
respectively (6’ height). We have two types of electric
operators: one kind meant to be run by thermostat to keep
constant temperature, and the second that moves faster,
meant to run up or down by a simple toggle switch.
